Preamble
--------

This e-mail has been designed with plain text e-mail clients in mind,
and looks best when viewed using a monospaced font.

You are receiving this mailing because you asked for it when you signed
up to the Zazzybob.com Members Area. If you want to stop receiving
this newsletter, sign into the Members Area, at
http://www.zazzybob.com/members/login.html and select
"Change Mailing Details" from the list of tools on the main members
page.

Zazzybob.com Site Updates
-------------------------

The Members Area is now pretty much complete. A lot of work
(and Perl coding) has gone into getting all of the functionality up and
running. You can sign up for the mailing list (you're reading this, so
I'll assume you've figured that out!), change your password and mailing
list details, post on the Message Board, and more. I will eventually be
adding some true "content" to the Members Area - mostly pre-release
code, etc., that wouldn't be suitable for the main site and general
user download.

If you've got a script or some other "plain text" content that you think
would be good for others to view/use, then post it to the Message Board.
If it's decent, I'll add it to the main site (of course you'll be
credited!) - just make sure that anything you do post is GPL'd. Also be
aware that there is a maximum of 20 lines allowed in any one post to the
Message Board. So if your content is larger than this limit, e-mail me
(kevin@zazzybob.com) instead, and I'll add it to the site.

You must have cookies enabled in order to use the Members Area.
http://www.zazzybob.com/members/login.html is the login portal URL.

topics range from Beginner-level right through to Advanced subjects such
as the intricacies of programming in C on *nix. The site has some

There are also sub-forums for the various flavours of *nix.

I know, mindless Windows bashing is not big or clever, but it can be
very funny. Some of these rants are educated. Some are idiotic.
Some are abusive. And some are just crap. Make up your own mind.
