Welcome! Make sure that the first place you visit is /etc/motd to see What's new on zazzybob.com. Alternatively, scroll down to the very bottom of this page to see what was added in the last update. You can find my contact details here.

This site is a home to all things Unix/Linux, with a particular lean towards System Administration, and scripting using bash, ksh, awk, sed, etc.

All material here is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence, which should be viewed HERE before you download anything off the site. This licence grants you a great deal of freedom over the code, so read it, it's in your interests!

You can also check out my blog over at The UNIX Geek.

The site is loosely organised into categories as follows:

/home This page.
/etc/motd News and views (and rants).
/bin Shell (and other) script repository - sh, bash, ksh, perl, awk and sed.
/etc Computer related articles, tips and tricks, tutorials, musings and writings.
/var Other stuff, various rants, links and articles.
/sbin Full programs, and System Administration stuff. Includes svcmon, Websh, ZMsgServer, ZSysInfo, ZBKB, ZBMenu, Addre'sh' Book, ZDB, Security Scripts, HASTE, ZDraw, Perl Games, sh2html, shangman, C programs, perl_config, sh_config, Postfix monitoring, tengine.sh, dnslist, htmltable and other projects
/usr/bin/find Search the site using the ZazzyBob.com site search engine.
Members The Members Area - sign up to the mailing list, get pre-release code, use the chat room and message board and more! Of course, it's free!

Navigation:
A few words about general site navigation. If you click on an internal link, then the page will load in the same window. The exception to this rule is if you click to view a script, from /bin for example, the content will load in a new window. My logic to this is to enable you to view and contrast between seperate scripts simultaneously. All external links open in new windows.

Contacting Me:
